Shiftworks is looking for a Head of Festival for Tallinn Music Week 

Tallinn Music Week (TMW) is one of Europe’s leading new music and city culture festivals and a networking event for music and creative industry professionals. The mission of the festival is to support the internationalisation and professionalism of Estonian music, as well as presenting Estonia and Tallinn as an attractive tourism destination.

The goal of the Head of Festival position: 

To ensure the sustainable development of the TMW brand and team, to promote the business objectives of the festival, to make sure that the cooperation between heads of festival departments is smooth, and that the content, created in cooperation with partners, forms a big picture that represents the values and development objectives of TMW. The Head of the Festival will cooperate with the Founder of the Festival in strategic questions.

Responsibilities:

– Forming the festival team
– Supporting the work and development of the team
– Setting and achieving the qualitative and financial goals of the festival
– Establishing and efficiently developing the work processes of the festival
– Planning and controlling the festival budget
– Maintaining and developing partnerships and agreements
– Creating synergy and connections between the festival parts to form a whole

Requirements:

– Experience in leading complex processes
– Experience in leadership
– Resilience
– Excellent business instincts and a solutions-oriented mindset
– Sufficient Estonian and excellent English language skills, written and spoken
– For applicants outside Estonia: the position requires to be based in Estonia
