Interview with Keith Nurse, President of Sir Arthur Lewis Community College in St. Lucia
Dr. Keith Nurse is the Principal of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College in St. Lucia and Senior Economist and Advisor on Structural Policies and Innovation to the OECD Development Centre in Paris. He has worked as a researcher and consultant to governments and international organisations in a wide range of areas such as trade policy, intellectual property, innovation governance, immigration and sustainable development. He also serves on the executive bureau of the UN Committee for Development Policy. Over his long and multifaceted career, Dr. Nurse has served on the advisory board of the WTO Chairs programme and as the MA in Technology Governance at the Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), to name a few positions.
In this interview, that Keith has filmed for us on the Caribbean island of St, Lucia island he will discuss his thoughts on the current situation. How will tourism dependent economies survive, how will this effect the future eduction and how will universities become globally relevant once they go online as their market changes, his ideas on developing a creative industries academy, and the climate benefitting from this de-globalisation experience by giving mother earth more breathing time.
